Mackenzie is a second-year student at the University of Michigan Law School where she is a member of the Michigan Journal of Race and Law and the Civil Rights Litigation Clearinghouse. She spent her first summer as a legal intern for the ACLU of North Carolina working on a broad range of constitutional issues. Prior to law school, she worked as a paralegal, assisting clients with their employment discrimination claims. She received a B.A. in political science from the University of Michigan in 2016.
