Zak is a second-year student at Harvard Law School. He is the president of the Law & Philosophy Society and the Space Exploration and Admiralty Law Society. Prior to law school, Zak taught political theory at a book camp and researched hate crimes at the University of Chicago. He received a master's degree in Social Sciences from the University of Chicago and a bachelor's degree in Social Studies and Philosophy from Harvard College, where he was the president of the Harvard Political Union.
