Amir Ali

Supreme Court and Appellate Attorney

Amir Ali is a Supreme Court and appellate lawyer at the MacArthur Justice Center, and founded the organization’s Washington, D.C. office.  Ali has litigated numerous cases before the U.S. Supreme Court, and most recently argued successfully in Welch v. United States. Before that, he was a member of the appellate practice at Jenner & Block LLP.  He also clerked for Judge Raymond C. Fisher on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and Justice Marshall Rothstein of the Supreme Court of Canada. Ali graduated magna cum laude from Harvard Law School in 2011.
