Hetali is a 3L at Michigan Law, also pursing a dual degree in the School of Education. She is a member of the Michigan Journal of Law Reform, the Student Rights Project, and the Pro Bono Board, and would like to pursue civil rights and public education-related work long-term. She spent her first summer on both coasts, starting at the Education Law Center in Philadelphia and finishing at Public Counsel in Los Angeles. Prior to law school, she was a Venture for America Fellow and worked at an education startup in San Antonio. She is a 2014 graduate of UNC-Chapel Hill (Go Heels!) where she studied chemistry and public policy, and loves to travel, run, drink tea, and try new vegan recipes.
